Jewelry by Lauren has taken a small vacation to re-think products and strategy.

What does this mean for you? Better Jewelry

Jewelry by Lauren will no longer vend at events except on special occasions. Additionally, the jewelry that is posted for sale will be of a higher quality. It is important to me that when I do make pieces, they are not only unique but durable.

My goal is to focus on .925 silver in the future, as well as 14k gold filled metals. Additionally, I will continue to make custom resin pendants and chains (more details to come). Finally, I will be focusing on Jewelry Parties!

You can request a party where I will bring all of my beads and metals, and you and your friends can pick and choose what you like for custom one of a kind pieces.

Please send me a note if you would like more details, in the mean time I will be focusing on re-focusing the inventory.

1. Contact me to place your order

2. Send me 6 pictures, one for each bezel. If there is more than one person in the picture, be sure to note who should be shown.

3. I will touch up the photo to ensure appropriate contrast. Crop and size, change to black and white, or sepia if requested, and place into bracelet

4. I will send you a preliminary picture once pictures are placed in the bracelet to confirm the settings.

5. Once confirmed I will cast resin over the bracelet setting the pictures in place permanently. After the 72 hr casting period they will be shipped to you.

About the Bracelet: The bracelets are a Jill MacKay design. They are sterling silver plated, 7″ inches and have 6 round bezels with a toggle clasp. The bracelet is durable however please keep  in mind that this is not pure sterling silver, but rather sterling silver plated. That means eventually it may wear off showing a red bronzy undertone. This is most likely to happen on the underside where it isn’t noticeable.  To help keep your bracelet nice longer, be sure to follow the recommended jewelry care instructions.

I had a great time vending this past weekend at DEKKA in Hallandale. It is a fantastic space with so much opportunity for growth. I see this event just getting bigger and bigger. They had a lot of great vendors with all sorts of different and unique handmade stuff. I’ve already started buying x-mas gifts from some of the cool things I’ve found.

I will be vending again on the 21st of November from 1-5 and definitely recommend that you come check out the space and all the cool stuff for sale. Handmade one of a kind items are great xmas gifts that show that extra hint of thought and care that went into their selection. JewelrybyLauren will be vending at Dekka on Hallendale Beach this coming Sunday, and Sunday the 21st!

Dekka is a 2500 sq. ft. fashion, art and music facility equipped with 2 live stages and has some of the best artists, designers, crafter, and vendors from around Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. It is held every Sunday from 1pm-5pm.

They also have a Saturday night party for those interested in the night life with live music, crafters, and designers for 5$ from 9pm to 2am.

These are ‘Limited Edition’ because I will only be making a limited quantity, and they are made to order. This means they can take up to 2-3 weeks to be shipped.

They are also ‘Limited’ because I am using the last stock I can find of the base sterling bezel bracelets. I am hoping to find more, but as of the moment I have bought the last of the available online stock of these bracelet casings. I have called the warehouse but so far no luck, this may be the last of the resin bracelets!!!

I have personally hand painted the backgrounds on these bracelets, which display Brutus the Buckeye, the letters O-H-I-O and a buckeye with leaf at the end. They are then covered and magnified by a glass marble, and finally secured with resin coating. The bracelets are 7″ and Sterling Silver Plated.

In celebration of my trip to Ohio this coming week, they will also be on sale until my return to Florida. Thats right, hand panted, limited stock and on sale! Sale ends October 3rd.

I just finished a new set of the hot selling resin bracelets!

The bracelets are 7″ with toggle clasps and made from sterling silver plate. Each bracelet has 6 bezels which contain an image or decorative paper secured under a glass marble with a clear resin coating around the marble for durability.
